Hi, I’m Jessie Jackson! I’m a children’s author, storyteller, and lifelong lover of imagination. I hold a degree in Creative Writing and Illustration from the University of California, Los Angeles, where I first discovered the power of whimsical tales to inspire curiosity, joy, and gentle life lessons in young readers.

From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by the magic of storytelling, doodling characters in the margins of my notebooks, and dreaming up worlds filled with laughter, friendship, and wonder. These early adventures in creativity eventually grew into The World of Jessie Jackson, a place where children and families can explore stories that are both heartwarming and uplifting.

My debut children’s book, The Sun Inside, follows Milo the Mole and his friends as they discover light, friendship, and hope in a once-dark place. When I’m not writing or illustrating, you’ll often find me wandering through parks and gardens, sketchbook in hand, finding inspiration in nature’s colors and rhythms. I also love connecting with families, sharing tips for creative storytelling, and designing fun activities like coloring pages, word searches, and mazes to keep young minds engaged.
